1 exceptional condition U.S. World War 2 aluminum handle fighting knife available. This U.S. fighting knife is ID’d. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
The front of the sheath is marked ‘USNR D.J. JOHNSON’. In addition, the vet marked the sheath with a Navy anchor.
The blade measures 7 7/8″. This large knife measures 12 1/2″ overall.
The handle is very much like is found on certain New Zealand-made WW2 fighting knives. U.S. servicemen bought fighting knives from New Zealand while they were in the Pacific in World War 2.

1 vintage U.S. World War 2 Case V-42 stiletto. This V-42 is a premium example–for the most advanced collections.
This Case V-42 has the long scabbard. The blade on this knife measures 7 7/16″–its full original length.
This knife was used by the First Special Service Force. Frank Trzaska notes in his article “The Case V-42 Stiletto” which appeared in the April 1998 edition of KnifeWorld, that “The U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets) use the V-42 in their Distinctive Insignia, their Unit Crest and in their shoulder patch.” The Case V-42 is a coveted and classic U.S. fighting knife.

1 original U.S. World War 1/World War II Mark 1 trench knuckle knife. This trench fighting knife was made by L.F. & C. This knuckle knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 11 3/4″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 3/4″. ‘U.S. 1918 L.F.&C.-1918’ is marked on the handle. The scabbard is marked ‘L.F.&C. 1918’.
The scabbard is pretty cool in that the G.I. that carried it welded a belt loop on it.

The blade measures 26 1/16″ (66.2 cm)–as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.
This sword is signed by the swordsmith on the nakago.
The blade has a wavy oil-tempered hamon.
