1 U.S. Army World War 1 Springfield Armory balloonist’s knife. This knife is so very rare. This knife would make an important addition to any premium collection.
Frank Trzaska, military edged weapons scholar and researcher, recently wrote an extensive article on the U.S. Army balloonist knife that was published in KnifeWorld. The article appeared just within the last six months or so.
The knife is hand-written on the blade ‘U.S. Army A.S.’ This knife measures 7 1/2″ overall.
