1 antique U.S. World War 2 Murphy Combat knife. This Murphy Combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.
The aluminum handle is marked on one side ‘MURPHY COMBAT‘. The reverse side is marked ‘U.S.A.‘. This knife measures 11 3/4″ overall. The blade measures 6 1/8″ from blade tip to the nearest part of the handle.
The scabbard is an original Murphy with starburst snap on the keeper strap.
CONDITION:
This antique U.S. World War II Murphy Combat knife is in excellent condition. All stitches, rivets, the keeper strap, and the snap are in excellent condition. There is a 3/4″ cut at the left throat rivet–which is characteristic of Murphy sheaths. The blade on the knife has some minor pitting. The handle, including the ‘MURPHY COMBAT’ and ‘U.S.A.’ markings, is excellent.
