Description
1 very fine 1850’s A.D. French parlor target pistol available. This antique pistol was made for target shooting inside a building. This pistol has a 6 mm bore.
This pistol has fine ebony wood. This antique firearm is intricately engraved. The barrel is marked ‘GILLES MARIETTE’ on its side. On the top of the barrel it is marked ‘Mohin Arms Valenciennes’.
This gun is finely engraved on most every metal surface.
CONDITION:
This 1850’s era pistol is in excellent condition. There is one tight, stable, shallow crack in the ebony wood on one side. The barrel surface is in excellent condition. This gun was kept oiled. On either side of the hammer there were two iron inserts–one is missing. The action functions smoothly and perfectly.
