1 original U.S. World War 1 1917 L.F.&C. trench knife available. This trench knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 14 1/16″ overall. The blade itself measures 9 1/16″. This knife has 6 point knucks. ‘U.S. L.F.&C. 1917‘ is stamped on the guard.
The scabbard is stamped ‘M.S.‘ on the upper and lower fitting. The green leather portion of the scabbard is stamped ‘JEWELL – 1918‘.
This knife has a rare unit mark. The walnut handle is stamped ‘CO E 144‘.
CONDITION:
This original and rare unit-marked U.S. World War 1 / World War 2 LF&C trench knife is in at least excellent unsharpened condition. The knuckle guard has some mild oxidation. The scabbard is perfect.
