1 ancient 1504 A.D. Japanese Samurai katana sword in shira-saya. This exceptional sword was recently fully polished by Ted Tenold. This Japanese Samurai sword would make an important addition to any collection.
This fine sword has a complex Yoshii School hamon/temper line with lots of activity. This sword is unsigned. The work is attributed to Bizen swordsmith Kiyonori.
The blade measures 25 9/16″ (64.9 cm) from blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. This Samurai katana is mounted in shira-saya. The habaki has a gold wash.
This sword was carried by true Samurai.

1 antique Japanese Police Lieutenant’s dress sword. This sword has a very hard-to-find polished shagreen/sharkskin handle. This Japanese sword would make an important addition to any collection.
The backstrap on this sword, with its three cherry blossoms, identify it as a police Lieutenant level dress sword. The tsuka/handle is made of polished sharkskin. This is a premium feature.
A police sword is a shorter sword, as is this one. There is no yakiba (acid-etched temper line) on this type of sword. This sword measures 29 3/16″ when it is in its scabbard. The blade itself measures 22 5/8″.

The handle has a wire-wrapped genuine same/rayskin grip.

The ancient 16th-18th century Japanese yajiri/arrowpoint would have been used by true Samurai . This arrowpoint bears the smith’s signature, Yasusada. This large arrowpoint measures 10 1/16″ (25.6 cm), including the tang. The point itself measures 2 5/8″ (7.6 cm) by 1 25/32″ wide (4.5 cm).

1 antique World War II Imperial Japanese tanto sword available. The blade is very unusual in that it was made of stainless steel. Naval swords were often made of stainless steel. This very fine Japanese tanto sword would make an important addition to any collection.
This tanto is unsigned. It has a true hamon/temper line–it is either water or oil-tempered. A hada/grain is visible in the blade. This stainless steel tanto was possibly, or perhaps likely, made at the Tenshozan Naval Forge.
The blade measures 7 7/8″ (20 cm) from blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.
The blade has two bohi grooves.

The blade measures 26 3/8″ from tip to top of the habaki (habaki edge that touches the blade). This sword has a blackened tsuba. There is an arsenal stamp next to the sword’s serial #.

1 antique World War II Imperial Japanese Navy Samurai Officer’s kai-gunto sword. A World War II Japanese Naval Officer’s katana with fine sharkskin saya would make an important addition to any collection.
This sword’s nakago is stamped with a small flaming bomb. This sword has a fine polished temper line. The blade measures 25 1/4″ (64.1 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
This Naval sword has a wood surrender tag attached to it. Note that the cord that the surrender tag is attached to the saya with is a cut Naval dirk tassel.
All fittings have matching assembly numbers–the number stamped on each is ’80’.

1 antique World War II Japanese samurai Army officer’s shin-gunto sword with Officer’s tassel. This signed World War II Japanese Army Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.
This sword is signed. The nakago has a Seki arsenal stamp. This sword has a fine wavy temper line. This sword has an Officer’s tassel. There are photos and sword bringback papers with this sword. This vet brought back two swords. Copies of each photo will be provided to the buyer of this sword. The vet’s son wouldn’t let go of the original photos and bringback paper.
All sittings, including the seppa and tsuba, have the matching assembly number ‘6’.
