1 mint set of 2 Puma 4-Star scrimshaw knives in fine walnut box. This rare Puma ‘The Steps of Freedom’ scrimshaw set commemorates the 200th Anniversary of the Signing of the U.S. Constitution. This set would make a rare addition to any collection.
This set of knives was made in 1986. Each knife’s scrimshaw is signed by Schultz. The set, after the scrimshaw work, was offered for sale in 1987.

The roughback scabbard is a fine Byrd’s leather sheath. The top of the scabbard is stamped ‘BYRDS LEATHER ORLANDO, FL. C. COX MOD 11A‘.

The handle is hollow. The pommel cap contains a compass. The guard is solid brass. Note the awesome design of the extended lower guard. The blade spine was file-worked by Colin.
The blade is marked ‘Colin COX Raymore, Missouri‘.
The scabbard is a fine Byrds leather sheath. The top of the scabbard is stamped ‘SURV. 8-9 C. COX‘. The back of the sheath is stamped ‘BYRDS LEATHER ORLANDO, FL.‘.
