The blade measures 6 5/8″”. This knife measures 10 5/8″ overall.
The scabbard itself is as desirable as the knife. Some collectors may strip the scabbard from this to complete another Everitt without a sheath.

Japanese officers were allowed to carry katanas during World War 2. Enlisted were not allowed to—many of these men carried a tanto sword like this one in their packs to invoke the spirit of the Samurai.
This tanto sword has a sayagaki on the saya–Japanese kanji.
The mumei blade measures 8”. This tanto measures 14 1/8” overall with its saya/scabbard. This tanto has a nice oil-tempered hamon.

1 rare Japanese WW2 Iida mount gunto Army Officer’s sword koshirae available. These sword mounts are among the most rare of all Japanese military sword koshirae. These mounts are referred to as the Iida seal–or the Iida lock, named after its inventor Iida Kunitaro. This exceptional Japanese Army sword koshirae would make an important addition to any collection.
The wood tsunagi blade measures a long 28 1/16″ (71.3 cm) from blade tip to the notch in the blade spine.
The Iida lock is a weather-proofing mount designed to keep water out of the saya. This exceptionally rare sword koshirae would make an important addition to any collection. Information on the Iida (IIDA) lock can be found on page 169 of Jim Dawson’s book, Swords of Imperial Japan 1868-1945 Cyclopedia Edition.

1 highly collectible M.W. Silvey book knife available. This is the actual knife pictured in Mike Silvey’s book Knives of the United States Military–World War II. This WW2 OSS stiletto would make an important addition to any collection.
As mentioned above, this knife is the knife photographed for page 144 of Silvey’s WW2 book. Note the same exact color variations in the handle in the book photo and my photos. Note too the same mark(s) on the sheath.
This knife has one Rockwell test mark on one side of the blade. The other side of the blade has three Rockwell test marks. As mentioned in Silvey’s letter, the rubber o-ring was deteriorated. In the 16 years since Mike’s letter, the rubber o-ring deteriorated further to the point of it coming off completely. They always were just a rubber o-ring anyway, so most collectors just go to their hardware store to get one to replace it.

The blade-marked Aerial M3 is one of the more difficult M3’s to find. The blade is marked ‘U.S. M3 AERIAL MARINETTE, WIS’.
This knife has a MILSCO M6 sheath. M3 and militaria collectors are always on the lookout for early M3’s paired with M6 1943 sheaths.
