1 Special Order Japanese WW2 sword by Tokiyoshi. This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.
This sword bears the Special Order inscription on the nakago ‘Made for Sagawa Akita’. The sword is signed and dated by the smith ‘Yamaha Minamoto no Tomiyoshi — Spring 1890’.
This is a traditionally-made sword. This sword has very early (1936-1938) Army mounts. Note the oversized tsuba, elongated kashira (pommel fitting), and attractive raised cherry blossom saya lock release.
The blade measures 25 1/16″ (63.6cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. As mentioned, this is a traditional blade.
The slender, rather elegant sword has a suguha (straight) temper line/hamon.

Nobufusa was judged a Sword Forging Teacher at the 1941 Exhibition. Nobufusa was a highly rated gendai smith–2.5 Million Yen. The traditional, water-tempered blade measures 68.3 cm (26 7/8″) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. This gendai was mounted in Samurai koshirae for the War.

The M3 trench knife is guard-marked ‘US M3 IMPERIAL’. The M8 scabbard is stamped ‘U.S. M8 B.M.CO.’.
The knife’s blade measures 6 3/4″. This knife measures 11 5/8″ overall. The pommel is peened, and it has the flaming bomb stamp.

This hard-to-find version of the Murphy Combat Jr. is called the ‘beavertail handle’ version. This knife measures 9 7/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 5 7/16″.
One side of the handle reads ‘MURPHY COMBAT, JR.‘. The other side reads ‘U.S.A.‘.

1 rare World War 2 Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 fighting knife. This early War Robeson Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.
This Mark 2 variation has red and black spacers next to the guard and pommel. The blade on the Robeson USMC was originally blued.
The blade measures 7″. The knife is marked ‘ROBESON SHUREDGE’ on the front tang. The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’.
The scabbard on a Robeson USMC Mark 2 needs to have black stitches—which this knife does have. Also the pommel has the correct welded tang.
