1 U.S. WW2 theater fighting knife available. The sheath is an original M.H. Cole sheath. Roger Ballard was visiting Mr. Cole back in the day when Mr. Cole gave him this sheath. Roger told me that it took him many years to find the right theater knife to go with this M.H. Cole sheath.
The knife has a walrus ivory handle. measures 11” overall. The blade itself measures 6 7/8”.
Roger Ballard ran with all the original military knife guys—M.H. Cole, Bill Walters, etc. Roger hand-draws a knife record ID card for each knife. His original hand-drawn ID card is included with this knife.

This is a very large Huff combat knife. This knife measures 13 9/16″ overall. The double-edged blade itself measures 8 13/16″. The blade and knuckle guard have remnants of the typical Huff blued-finish.
The brass plate on one side of the wood handle is stamped ‘MADE. AT. FORT. KNOX. KY.‘. The belt sheath is not an original Huff sheath, but is World War 2 vintage.

This knife measures 9 1/2″ overall. The blade itself measures 5 9/16″. The knuckle guard is made of heavy steel with skull crusher ridges.
The scabbard has the Marine Corps symbol scratched into its front. This can be seen when rotating the sheath under light to get the right angle.

This huge fighting knife measures 18 3/4″ overall. The blade and scabbard are from the German bayonet. The bayonet tang stamp was ground off the blade tang.

1 IDENTIFIED MAKER U.S. World War 2 aluminum handle knuckle fighting knife. This large P.D. HENRY knuckle knife would make an important addition to any collection.
According to Bill Wright’s book, page 52, “The two knuckle knives pictured above were hand made. P.D. HENRY of Birmingham, AL, made the knife on the top. He was in the scrap metal business in Birmingham during WWII. This knife has a 9 1/2″ double edge blade and a cast aluminum handle.”
This knife measures 14 1/2″ overall. The blade itself measures 9 5/8″. The blade was made from a file–file grooves are still visible on portions of the blade. The knife handle has the initials of the G.I. carved into it.
