The brown button sheath is marked ‘H.H. HEISER MAKER DENVER, COLO. 1 8‘. The sharpening stone is whitish grey stone with a groove on one edge.

This knife was made 1946-1949. This model 1-7 measures 12 1/4″ overall. The blade itself measures 7 3/16″.
This early Randall has a brass pommel washer and nut, and a thick middle handle spacer. The sheath is a Heiser. The sharpening stone pouch was cut off the sheath by the guy who carried it. The brown button sheath is stamped ‘H.H. HEISER MAKER DENVER, COLO. 1 7’. There is a rivet at the left side of the sheath throat.
