The San Antonio Iron Works fighting knife is made with the base portion of the Patton sword. The front tang is stamped ‘U.S. No. 11‘. The reverse tang is stamped ‘L.F.&C. 1918‘. This knife measures 14 1/2″ overall. The blade itself measures 8 1/4″.
The sheath is the correct tooled leather San Antonio Iron Works sheath.

The pommel on the 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife has a hammer head for pounding the crate lids back down again.

The scabbard is a fine Byrds leather sheath. The top of the scabbard is stamped ‘SURV. 8-9 C. COX‘. The back of the sheath is stamped ‘BYRDS LEATHER ORLANDO, FL.‘.

Ben Rocklin made his knife blades from old files. File grooves can still be seen on the ridge of the blade on this knife. This knife measures 13 3/16″ overall. The blade itself measures 8″. The turned wood handle has two pins, and a metal collar. The guard is attached to the handle with two pins. The scabbard is correct for a Rocklin Sticker, and is marked ‘228’.
