1 original U.S. World War 1/World War II Mark 1 trench knuckle knife. This trench fighting knife was made by L.F. & C. This knuckle knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 11 3/4″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 3/4″. ‘U.S. 1918 L.F.&C.-1918’ is marked on the handle. The scabbard is marked ‘L.F.&C. 1918’.
Part of the knuckle guard was hit by shrapnel–such a cool piece.

1 vintage U.S. World War 1/World War II Mark 1 trench knuckle knife. This trench fighting knife was made in France for the U.S. Army, and is marked ‘AU LION’ on the tang. The lion image is stamped just above the Au Lion mark. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 11 3/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 3/8″. ‘U.S. 1918’ is marked on the handle.

The handle has the ‘EVERITT’ mark. This knife measures 12″ overall. The double-edge trench blade itself measures 7 1/16″. The blade is blackened.
The Everitt scabbard has the characteristic black rivets, throat staples, and the long keeper strap.

1 U.S. World War 2 Pacific Theater Au Lion 1918 Mk1 knuckle knife–with a blade from a Japanese Samurai sword. This G.I.-made 1918 would make a one of a kind addition to any premium collection.
A United States G.I. took an Au Lion 1918 knuckle knife, and replaced the blade with the tip of a captured Japanese Samurai sword. The blade on this knife measures 7 7/8″. The G.I. ground off one side of the guard so the knife would lie flat against his side (a common thing done by U.S. soldiers who carried 1918’s).
