1 rarest of banner-etched World War II 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knives available. This knife is etched on one side of the blade ‘COMMANDO KNIFE‘. This is a rare etch.
The blade on this knife is also the blackened variation–blackened Wilkinson F-S are much harder to find.
This knife is Id’d to a Lieutenant. The blade is etched ‘1st LIEUT MARSHALL BOONE’. This fighting knife would make a rare addition to any World War II, or world militaria collection.
There are no markings on the guard.

1 rare blackened blade banner-etched World War II 2nd pattern Wilkinson Sword Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife available. This knife is Id’d to a Lieutenant. The blade is etched ‘LIEUT Q-XXX‘. ‘XXX’ is the British 30 Corps. This unit served in North Africa, Tunisia, and the Invasion of Sicily. 30 Corps later participated in the Normandy Invasion. Great history on this knife. This fighting knife would make a rare addition to any World War II, or world militaria collection.
The front tang is etched ‘THE F-S FIGHTING KNIFE’. The reverse tang is etched ‘WILKINSON SWORD LONDON’. There are no markings on the guard.

This sword was made by W. Clauberg in Germany. This sword was sold in a U.S military shop to a Union Officer. This grade of sword was often purchased by junior officers and presented to a high rank Union Officer to honor their service, to commemorate a battlefield victory, or to congratulate the officer on receiving of higher promotion of rank.

1 U.S. World War 1/World War II Mark 1 trench knuckle knife. This trench fighting knife was made in France for the U.S. Army, and is marked ‘AU LION’ on the tang. The lion image is stamped just above the Au Lion mark. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 11 3/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 5/8″. ‘U.S. 1918’ is marked on the handle.
The soldier that carried this knife ground the guard flat so that the knife had a low profite while carrying it.
