1 desirable vintage Frank J. Richtig aluminum-handled skinning knife available. This hard-to-find Frank Richtig knife would make an important addition to any collection, and would also make a fine using knife–a knife that few others in the country still use, because they have been snatched up by collectors.

Frank would demonstrate this at county fairs–after slicing a railroad spike or leaf spring, he would slice through a piece of paper with the same knife. Frank earned himself a spot in a ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ magazine in the 1930’s. These knives can be used for decades, because of Frank’s superior craftsmanship.
This knife has a blade that measures 6″. The handle on this knife has the ‘F.J.R. CLARKSON NEB.’ stamp. (Other stamps seen on knives made by Frank Richtig include the ‘HAND MADE BY F. J. RICHTIG CLARKSON, NEBR.’ stamp, and the blacksmith image stamp’). This knife measures 10 3/4″ overall.
