This is the model 1883 (ca.1883) Navy dirk. It has early cutout fittings, and a fine sharkskin saya.
This dirk has a 7 3/4″ blade, and measures 12 1/2″ overall.

This knife has a Moose Co. M6 sheath. M3 and militaria collectors are always on the lookout for a 1943 blade-dated M3 paired with a leather M6 1943 sheath.

1 U.S. WW2 theater Case XX 337-6″Q fighting knife available. This U.S. WW2 edged weapon would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife measures 11” overall. The blade measures 6”.
The knife handle was made in the European theater with aluminum from aircraft, colored spacers, and plexiglass from downed aircraft windshields.
The sheath is pretty cool. A pin-up girl is drawn into the front of the sheath. The G.I.’s initials ‘R.E.T.’ are also marked into the leather on the upper half of the sheath.
