1 vintage U.S. World War II Type A1 Imperial folding survival machete available. This U.S. Army Air Force survival machete comes with its original white/grey leather sheath and sharpening stone, and is in rare condition. This machete would make an important addition to any collection
The blade ricasso is stamped ‘IMPERIAL PROV. R.I.‘. The Type A1 survival machete has a black checkered handle. The blued blade locks in the open position. A lock release is located on the handle near the blade. The guard covers the sharpened edge when the machete is in the folded position. The guard folds into the handle and out of the way when the machete is in the open position. Note the original grey leather lanyard strap is still attached to this machete. The scabbard has its original leather lace hanger as well. See pages 195 and 196 of M.H. Cole’s The Best of U.S. Military Knives Bayonets & Machetes for more information on this knife.

The scabbard is of super high quality. The throat is stamped ‘M.W. SEGUINE JUNEAU, ALASKA’. The sheath has a tapered-shaped sharpening stone in its front pouch.

1 vintage U.S. World War 2 Case V-42 stiletto. This V-42 is a premium example–this knife would make a centerpiece knife in any collection.
This Case V-42 has the long scabbard. The blade on this knife measures 7 3/8″–its full original length.
This knife was used by the First Special Service Force. Frank Trzaska notes in his article “The Case V-42 Stiletto” which appeared in the April 1998 edition of KnifeWorld, that “The U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets) use the V-42 in their Distinctive Insignia, their Unit Crest and in their shoulder patch.” The Case V-42 is a coveted and classic U.S. fighting knife.

This V-44 was made by Collins. The blade is stamped ‘COLLINS & CO. LEGITIMUS MADE IN U.S.A. No. 18’. This knife measures 14″ overall. The blade itself measures 9 1/4″. This knife has a brass guard, and black handle.
The scabbard is decorated with incredible theater artwork, likely from the North African theater, of an Arabian man–truly awesome.
