RARE—FOLDED-OVER SIGNATURE Japanese Samurai Tanto Sword -Old/Antique Collection
$0
Every item on St. Croix Blades comes with FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the World.
1 antique Japanese Samurai tanto sword available. This tanto sword was carried by true Samurai–this sword would make an important addition to any collection.
The tang/nakago on this tanto has a rare folded-over signature. It’s a folded-over inlay–which is a much more difficult signature inlay. Very hard to find.
The blade measures 7 3/16″ (18.3 cm) from blade tip to the habaki. At first glance this would appear to be a ken sword–however, it isn’t. It has a very thin mune/unsharpened spine. Very unusual, and at the very least a difficult to find tanto shape. This sword has a fine wood saya.
This tanto has a Silver foil habaki.

Rare US WW2 Knife-Crafters Throwing/Fighting Knife w/Sheath -Phila PA/Collection

This knife comes with an original sheath. The sheath is stamped ‘Knife-Crafters TRADE MARK PHILA.PA.U.S.A.‘.
The knife was never sharpened. The gentleman I bought this knife from met an elderly man in Pennsylvania who worked at Knife-Crafters during the War. He was told that when the War ended, so did production/completion of all fighting knives. This piece represents an interesting part of U.S. War production history.
This knife measures 7 3/4″ overall.
