The sword and scabbard serial #’s match. The sword’s serial # is 2405, and the scabbard’s serial # is 2405.
The blade measures 26 9/16″ from tip to top of the habaki (habaki edge that touches the blade). Note the arsenal stamps on the fuchi (fitting just below the tsuba/guard).

1 water-tempered Japanese WW2 gendai sword by Amahide with special Silver-plated custom fittings. These special Silver-plated fittings are only seen once in a great while. This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.
This sword is signed ‘Noshu Seki ju Ichimonji Amahide kitau kore’. This sword also has Amahide’s hot stamp (kokuin).
This is a special sword. Unlike roughly 95% of gendai swords, this sword was made with Tamahagane (traditional Japanese sand steel), and was made in the old ways. Note the beautiful hada (grain) visible in the close-up photos (especially in the last two photos above).
The blade measures 24 11/16″ from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. As mentioned, this is a traditionally-made gendai sword–there are no arsenal or Showa stamps on the nakago.
This sword also has its original blue/brown Company grade Officer’s tassel. The saya, as part of the special custom koshirae/mounts, is made of special textured lacquer over wood.

This is a special sword. Check out the fiery temper line.
The blade measures 26 1/8″ from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. As mentioned, this is a traditionally-made gendai sword–there are no arsenal or Showa stamps on the nakago. The nakago is not signed. Note the carefully-made pattern of file marks up near the habaki.
This sword was made with multiple layers of steel–as can be seen by looking carefully at the blade.
Note the mounts are higher quality with 2 wide seppa among the fittings. The seppa and tsuba all have matching assembly numbers.

This traditionally-made gendai katana has an expertly water-tempered wavy hamon. This Japanese WW II Army Officer’s katana is in 1944 shin-gunto mounts (aka Type 3 mounts).
The nakago is signed ‘Nagamitsu saku (made this)’.
The blade measures 26 1/2″ (67.3 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine). This sword has two latch releases.

1 antique World War II Japanese samurai Army Officer’s sword available. The blade is a high condition sword by Okada Kaneyoshi. This fine Japanese Army katana would make an important addition to any collection.
The showato blade measures 26 1/4″ (66.6 cm)–as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. There is a Seki stamp above the signature. All fittings have the matching assembly number ‘3’.
Kaneyoshi is featured in John Slough’s book An Oshigata Book of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths 1868-1945 on page 74. See photo above.

This sword is mumei–what a great sword to Shinsa!
The blade measures 12 15/16″ (32.8 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
This sword has a desirable wavy hamon/temper line. The tsuba is very nice. The tsuba has a handsome color. The fuch, kashira, and two of the saya fittings are matching–the motif is gumoka zogon (debris floating on water). Two of the saya fittings are missing–fortunately both fittings can be replaced by buffalo horn. Horn fittings would look very nice on this saya.
